Achiever Education and Career Aspirations Program

Thanks to philanthropic investments from AT&T, Wellington Management and State Street, Friends of the Children–Boston has launched the Achiever Education and Career Aspirations Program.

Laying the framework for this new program dedicated to getting all of our Achievers through high school, employed and on a path to college is the natural and necessary next step to break the cycle of generational poverty. We must teach them the soft skills and technical skills they will need to maintain and perform at a high standard while in college or in their desired career field. Only by doing this will we achieve our vision of breaking the cycle of generational poverty and enable our Achievers to write a new story for themselves.
