A Year of Being There, No Matter What

The generosity of others in times of need never ceases to amaze and inspire us. Just before Christmas we learned from one of our supporters that they want to encourage and challenge our community of supporters to make a year end gift to Friends-Boston by offering a one to one match up to $10,000 through January 8th - that's $20,000 to support our Achievers as we begin the new year!

That means that every donation received today through January 8th will be doubled! Through their challenge and your generosity we can have the start to 2021 our Achievers deserve.

As 2020 comes to an end, we wanted to showcase what we have been able to accomplish this year and thank our supporters for helping us get through this whirlwind of a year. We have a lot to celebrate and be proud of this year, but our work is not done. Our families are still the hardest hit by the pandemic - facing unemployment, housing instability and food insecurity. And our youth who already faced education inequalities before the pandemic are going to need all the support we can offer them to ensure they do not fall further behind academically and social emotionally.
