This year, New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario “Pop” Douglas has chosen Friends of the Children–Boston as his partner organization for the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative.

Each season, My Cause My Cleats gives players across the league the chance to shine a spotlight on causes close to their hearts. Players design custom cleats that tell the story of the organizations they care about, and wear them during a Monday night game to share their support and raise visibility!

Choosing Friends-Boston is a powerful statement about the importance of long-term, consistent investment in our city's youth. His cleat design was made in collaboration with our Achievers and reflects the hopes and dreams our youth strive towards every single day!
