When our East Boston program started three years ago, we did not begin with a building. We began with people. Friends (professional mentors) met Achievers where they already were and started the long work of showing up, week after week, for the 12+ years we commit to every Achiever. Three years of that came before any space of our own.

Now we have one. Our new location in Central Eastie was built for Achievers and their families, with the same care we have put into our Roxbury location at Hibernian Hall.

This move belongs to a lot of people.

To the Achievers and caregivers who made this program what it is, long before there was a building to point to.

To Mario Umana Middle School Academy, who sought us out, worked alongside us for three years, and encouraged us to keep growing in East Boston.

To the neighbors, community organizations, partners, and donors who believed that long-term relationships deserve a permanent place.

And to our Friends and staff, who spent three years proving that presence matters more than an address.

We're home, East Boston!
