Join the Campaign for Generational Change

At Friends of the Children-Boston, we know that we are strongest in community with one another. That’s why we are kicking off our Campaign for Generational Change! This is not just a fundraising campaign but a campaign for community, for hope, and for lasting change in the lives of our youth who so often are the most vulnerable to shifting national and state landscapes.

Throughout the campaign, we will explore biweekly themes that highlight the work of our Achievers and mentors - showing different ways we build resilience, empowerment, and community care as an organization. Our ask to you - GET INVOLVED! We invite you to volunteer, tune in, donate, and engage with our mission and our youth!

Our mission is to break the cycle of generational poverty, and we know that that cannot be done alone. Every newsletter read, every volunteer opportunity, every share on every post, every gift is a reminder that collective action makes lasting change possible.

Instead of Fear, Invest in Hope

In a time when the world feels overwhelming, we know that hope is safe within the walls of the Friends of the Children-Boston office. Our Achievers and Professional Mentors continue to grow, create, dream, and celebrate milestones no matter the storms forecasted.

This October, we celebrate hope by bringing to YOU the very first episodes of our youth-led podcast "Voices of Impact" where our Achievers talk about the themes of the week and how they are processing their worlds. Other activities to celebrate hope for the month are our very first annual Trunk or Treat, notes from staff on community care and resilience, digital trick or treat bags for our community members and supporters, lunch and learns to talk about the issues facing nonprofits today and so, so much more!

Join us in building a movement of hope. Email daniella@friendsboston.org to learn about ways to get involved, or donate below! (Alternative ways to give at bottom of page)
