Strengthening Families Today for an Empowered Tomorrow
We are thrilled to announce that our Friend Raiser will once again be in person!
Please Join Us on Thursday, May 5th 2022!
It has been a long two years and we have so much to celebrate. We hope you will join us as we come together to celebrate the strength and resilience of our Achievers and their families.
This is where you come in!
Our Friend Raiser is our signature fundraising event and night of celebration. In addition to being essential to our yearly budget helping us raise $600,000 – our largest goal to date – we also use this opportunity to celebrate our Achievers and their relationships with their Friends.

COVID 19 Safety Policy for Friend Raiser Guests
It is our commitment to keep our Achievers, staff, and guests as safe as possible as we celebrate together in person for our annual Friend Raiser. To maintain that promise of safety, we have implemented the following policy for all those in attendance at our May 5th Friend Raiser.
COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols
Due to the on-going pandemic, all individuals who attend Friends of the Children-Boston’s (Friends-Boston) Annual Friend Raiser must comply with the following COVID vaccination and testing policies:
For the safety of the entire Friends-Boston community, all event participants who meet age eligibility for the COVID vaccine must be fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines at the time of the Friend Raiser OR tested negative for COVID 48 hours prior to the event.
Proof of vaccination OR self-declartion of a negative COVID test will be required at the time of check-in prior to the start of the Friend Raiser. A photo or copy of your vaccination card is acceptable. For the negative COVID test, you do not have to bring a negative test but rather certify that you tested negative 48 hours prior to the event.
As a convenience, we encourage you to use the state's very easy to use COVID-19 SMART Health Card which can be set up here. These guidelines may adjust per the CDC, Friends-Boston leadership, and local state guidelines.
Hazards & Risks
By attending Friends of the Children-Boston's Friend Raiser, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogens capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against Friends of the Children-Boston, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, all food and beverage vendors, and all entertainment providers.
