BOARD: Tariq Meyers

Tariq Meyers is the Chief Careers Officer at Podium Education, where he designs innovative career experiences and curriculum to close the opportunity gap for college students and set them on a path to meaningful, high-growth careers.

Prior to Podium, Tariq was the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Untapped, a venture-backed talent marketplace that connected over one million emerging professionals from underrepresented backgrounds with career opportunities in technology and finance.

A nationally recognized voice in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Tariq served as the first Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Lyft, and later as the Head of Equity, Inclusion & Diversity at Coinbase. In both roles, he developed inclusive recruiting and leadership strategies that expanded access to opportunity and helped redefine how the industry attracts, retains, and uplifts underestimated talent.

Tariq is driven by a bold vision for the future of work—one where individuals are evaluated by the gifts they bring, not just the companies they’ve worked for or the schools they’ve attended.

He is currently a Master in Public Administration candidate at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
