Anshul is Head of Business Development at Akston, a biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutics for companion animals. He leads strategic partnerships, investment sourcing and oversees marketing and cross-functional business initiatives across the organization, bringing deep expertise at the intersection of science, business, and social impact.
Born in Australia, raised in Tanzania, and of Indian origin, Anshul speaks six languages. His multicultural background fuels a lifelong commitment to mentorship, education equity, and youth empowerment.
Outside of work, Anshul enjoys photography, playing tennis, supporting wildlife conservation initiatives, and serving on the advisory board of Cornell’s eLab startup accelerator. He’s also an active disc jockey and music enthusiast.
