We were granted $100K from Cummings Foundation

Friends of the Children-Boston was selected in 2015 as one of the $100K for 100 by the Cummings Foundation. About the Cummings Foundation and Bill and Joyce Cummings

Joyce and Bill Cummings established Cummings Foundation in 1986. The  firm Bill founded in 1970, Cummings Properties, was thriving, and the Winchester, Massachusetts couple wanted to give back in the Greater Boston areas where their business operated and where its staff and clients lived. The Foundation has awarded more than $130 million in grants in Greater Boston alone in recent years.

In 2011, Joyce and Bill joined the Giving Pledge, an organization founded by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet, through which some of the world’s wealthiest people have pledged to donate at least half of their assets for philanthropic purposes. Find out more here.
